CHECK-IN/OUT
A smart check-in is in place with keyless entry. An entry code will be sent to you prior to arriving.
Check in is from 3pm.
Check-out is before 11am.
PARKING
Parking vouchers can be booked 24 hours in advance by contacting Laura (hello@number-8.co.uk). Parking vouchers can be used in either the Castle Row Car Park or Castle Street Multi-Storey car park, both of which are 150m away. These cost £12 for a 24 hour period.
BREAKFAST/LUNCH
We are currently unable to provide breakfast however the following nearby cafes do: Chatterbox (under the hotel), No.35, Stag and The Cosy Club on St Margarets Street, Wildings, Marks and Spencers café.
LUGGAGE/BIKE STORAGE
There is a locked storage area on the patio which is accessible to any guest during the time of their stay. Three bike holders can be used on request in the garden of the Chatterbox cafe (we are not responsible for their security, damage or loss).
SMOKING & VAPING
We operate a no-smoking and no-vaping policy in all parts of the building, including the rear patio. If you wish to smoke please use the residents car parking area beside the property.
DOGS
Suite 1 (Ground floor) and Suite 4 (First floor) are suitable for dogs. . A dog bed and bowls are available. Other suites may be possible, on request.
COT BED & PRAMS
Cot beds (together with protector, fitted sheet and cellulose blanket) are provided in each of the four Suites. There is storage for prams in the storage area at the back of the property.
DISABLED ACCESS
As a listed building we cannot offer an alternative to the stairs reaching the first and second floor. There are also two steps to the front of the property. There is a ground floor room (Suite 1) which has a walk in shower if you are to manage the front door step. There is a public disabled parking space adjacent to the property.

Check each room for its specific facilities but all rooms have the following:

- Ensuite (toilet, sink, shower, shaver socket)
- Nespresso Coffee machine with pods
- Kettle
- A variety of hot drinks
COMMUNAL FACILITIES
There is a communal iron and ironing board on the 2nd floor and a guest kitchen with washer dryer, table and chairs and cooking facilities on the lower ground floor.
ECO
As a listed property meeting current fire regulations it is impossible to be fully ECO. However we do try where possible:
- 100% cotton bed linens
- Eco & vegan friendly soaps and detergents
- Eco friendly toilet paper
- Refillable glass water bottles in each room
- Recycling Nespresso pods
