We can offer you a selection of stylish rooms to meet your taste and requirements over three floors.
Available to all guests is free Wi-Fi, Netflix on the in-room flat screen TVs, Nespresso coffee machines, a variety of hot drinks, toiletries and towels. The suites offer a double sofa bed, cot (with bedding) and a fridge with the larger suites containing a table and chairs and a compact kitchen. As a listed period building each room has newly fitted wooden sash windows installed.

Parking
Parking vouchers can be booked 24 hours in advance by contacting Laura (hello@number-8.co.uk). Parking vouchers can be used in either the Castle Row Car Park or Castle Street Multi-Storey car park, both of which are 150m away. These cost £15 for a 24 hour period.
Cancellation Policy
We usually offer a full refund up to 6 days in advance, with bookings in the last 6 days being non-refundable as they’re then offered at a reduced rate.
KING BED SUITES
Suite 4
Our largest Suite, Number 4 boasts a king-size bedroom with private balcony, walk-in shower and large lounge with high ceilings and sash windows.
With soft, natural colours complementing the original exposed walls, the lounge provides space to dine, relax watching the Smart TV with Netflix, or sleep soundly on the “Natuzzi” Italian sofa bed.
Enjoy private use of your kitchenette with fridge, Nespresso machine and microwave, or pop downstairs to use our full kitchen with laundry facilities for a longer stay.
A travel cot with bedding is provided, as well as a dog bed and bowls in case required.
There is also a cafe in the building and parking available in the same street.
Suite 5
Nestled under vaulted beamed ceilings, Suite 5 is incredibly popular, rewarding guests who book this second floor suite with beautiful views over the city rooftops and a private, cosy space to relax and unwind.
The quiet rear bedroom provides a sumptuous king-size bed with fresh cotton linens, completed by a stylish shower room with “Vado” rain shower.
The cosy, bright lounge space offers a comfy double sofa bed, desk space and kitchenette. The private fridge, Nespresso machine and kettle allow you to relax in your suite, or pop downstairs to use our full kitchen and laundry facilities for longer stays. A travel cot with bedding is also provided.
There is also a cafe in the building and parking available in the same street.
Suite 6
Suite 6 is arguably our most popular space, with guests returning frequently to enjoy the lofty, beamed ceilings, welcoming lounge and peaceful bedroom. With luxury mattress and cotton bed linens, a wonderful sleep is completed by our modern bathroom with “Vado” rain shower.
Relax in the beautiful lounge area, with comfy double sofa bed and Smart TV with Netflix. The private kitchenette offers a fridge, microwave, sink and Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided, whilst a full kitchen with laundry facilities is available downstairs for longer stays. A travel cot with bedding is also provided.

JUNIOR SUITE
Suite 1
Situated on the ground floor, Suite 1 is perfect for less mobile guests* and for young families, offering a peaceful bedroom to the rear of the building and direct access to the lobby and city centre beyond.
The modern bathroom with walk-in “Vado” rain shower leads to a lounge area with Italian double sofa bed, table with smart TV and Netflix. A mini kitchenette offers offers a fridge, microwave, sink and Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided. A full kitchen with laundry facilities is available downstairs for longer stays for people wishing to prepare a meal.
A travel cot with bedding is provided, plus a dog bed with bowls on request.
There is also a cafe in the building and parking available in the same street.
*Please note there are two steps up to the front door. This is a listed building so official disabled access is not possible. A disabled parking space is adjacent to the building.
KING EN-SUITE BEDROOMS
Room 2
Situated to the rear of the building, Room 2 offers a peaceful space with sumptuous King-size bed and private bathroom with “Vado” rain shower. Relax watching the smart TV with Netflix, or enjoy a fresh Nespresso coffee before heading out to explore.
Guests staying longer may use the full kitchen with laundry facilities downstairs, whilst business travellers can access the ironing station on the floor above.
There is also a cafe in the building and parking available in the same street.
Room 3
Stylish and unique, Room 3 offers a luxurious king-size bed, desk space and beautiful private bathroom with walk-in “Vado” rain shower.
Relax in your room with Smart TV and Netflix, or enjoy a fresh Nespresso coffee before heading out into the city centre which is right on our doorstep.
Guests staying longer may use the full kitchen with laundry facilities downstairs, whilst business travellers can access the ironing station on the floor above.
